Kenshin Shotokan Karate Club was formed in 2000 by Sensei Franklyn Doras 6th Dan who is the Chief Instructor and Grading Examiner of the Club. Sensei Doras began his karate training in 1973, with Sensei Cyril Cummins 8th Dan, and over the years has trained with some of the top Japanese and European Instructors. He has also competed at the highest level (Regional, National and International competitions).
The Club is a registered member of NAKMAS. We offer training in Traditional Shotokan karate to interested parties above the age of 6.Drop in and see us – we’d love to meet you!

Training Times (age 6+):
Fridays:6-7PM (Beginners to Red belts)
Fridays:7-8PM (Yellow belts to Black belts)
Sundays:9:30 - 10:30 (Beginners to Red belts)
Sundays:10:30 - 11:30 (Yellow belts to Black belts)
We operate a continuous beginners programme but please contact us to book your place.
The next grading will take place on, Sunday, 15/12/19
Fees need to be in by Friday, 13/12/19
Our grading Sensei will be Sensei Austin Birks.
