Kenshin Shotokan Karate Club (KSKC) was formed in 2000. It is a registered member of NAKMAS (National Association of Karate And Martial Art Schools) . The instructor of KSKC is Sensei Franklyn Doras 4th Dan,who is very experienced and has many years of training with top Japanese and European Instructors. He has competed at the higest level both Nationally and internationally, and continues to train with his first Instructor (Sensei Cummins 7th Dan).
We offer training in traditional Shotokan Karate. The club caters for all ages (minimum age 5yrs) and has students of all levels; from black belts to our many beginners (male & female). We use Japanese terminology, which is standard practice in dojos around the world. The benefit of this, is that the karate student could train anywhere in the world, and be able to understand instructions. Karate overcomes the language barrier.
